  which is in turn a port of the original Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS title in the now long-running series. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for the iPhone hosts the first five cases in the lawyer's career.

  Using a dual-screen set-up that looks not unlike transposing the DS to the iPhone, players navigate crime scenes and courtroom battles with touch controls. The "bottom" screen is where you manage evidence, objectives, and eventually, those wonderful objections.

  The charm of Phoenix Wright, though, is its goofiness. This is not a serious law sim, you know. Lawyers do not normally go to the scene of a crime and just lift evidence. 87 rules of the court system are broken in Phoenix Wright's universe, like sharing evidence with the defense. But that's not the point here. Phoenix Wright became a cult hit because it was so… odd. The characters, such as Phoenix's rival Miles Edgeworth, provide lots of great lines and silly scenarios. It's one of those games you have to just experience.

  Look for Phoenix Wright to hit the App Store very soon for $4.99. That's quite a bargain for all five cases considering the original set folks back $30. Expect a full review, too, on IGN.
