• HD photos of Pokemon SoulSilver Version!

  This Sunday, March 14th, Nintendo of America will unleash the latest Pokemon adventure to Nintendo DS gamers. Like all Pokemon RPGs for the handheld, this adventure comes in multiple flavors: HeartGold and SoulSilver. And we've got both, in-hand.

   

   

  

   

   

   

   

  The big deal about HeartGold and SoulSilver, other than it being a DS remake of the classic Pokemon Gold and Silver, is that it comes with a new Pokemon device: the PokeWalker. This Pokewalker gives you the ability to carry one of your captured Pokemon along with you, earning presents and capturing additional Pokemon in your travels.

   

  In our package Nintendo even gave us HeartGold and SoulSilver "skins" for our Pokewalker, though there was no note on how the general public will be able to get one for themselves -- the pre-order gift for these games are miniatures of the two Legendary Pokemon spotlighted in the RPG.

   

  

   

   

  

   

   

   

  Both versions are identical in content, aside from the version of the game that comes bundled in their box.

   

  

   

  

   

  

   

   

  Interestingly enough, the Pokewalker that comes with the US version is indentical to the one that comes with the Japanese version. When you beam data from the Japanese version to the US Pokewalker, everything turns to Japanese text. Vice-versa with the US game to Japanese Pokewalker.
