• Dead or Alive 3D Renamed

  Here's a curiosity. Two Japanese games have been given followup coverage following E3. And they're both fighters.

   

  We already provided screens and a few details on Capcom's 3D conversion of Super Street Fighter IV. Now it's time for the system's other fighting game, Dead or Alive 3D.

   

  Famitsu.com posted a followup report on the game today. The name has apparently been finalized as "Dead or Alive Dimensions." Team Ninja is developing Dimensions, under the direction of Yousuke Hayashi.

   

  The site doesn't share any gameplay details. Instead, it's all about the media, showing screens of Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate and Raidou, and stages set in the mountains and in Kyoto. Visit the Famitsu.com report for the screens.

   

  Regardless of the lack of details, we're excited to see some actual coverage of 3DS, since the platform has been mostly quiet since E3. Nintendo won't be showing product at next week's Tokyo Game Show, and 3DS games are likely out as well, but perhaps we can expect a post-TGS briefing of some form.
